Equalites and Self Organisation

SELF ORGANISING GROUPS

After many false starts we re now in a position to re-establish these groups.

Initially Disabled members and Black members groups will be set up.

To do this needs some planning.

Attending self organsing groups has to be in members own time so to make it as easy as possible to attend there are decisions to be made on:

  • Day of week
  • Time (and duration)
  • Venue
  • Frequency of meetings
  • Organisational matters - chair, secretary etc.

Self organising groups can send members to the Branch Committee.

Two meetings have been arranged:

  • Monday 7th July 5.30 - 6.30pm - Disabled Members
  • Wednesday 9th July 5.30- 6.30pm - Black members

Both in the Pendolino Room at the City Chambers.

Contact Malcolm Parnell or the Branch Office if you would like to attend.
