Disabled Members Group
The disabled members group needs members! This group can provide space and opportunity for Unison members who have a disbility to meet together. Doing this creates a voice in the union to ensure that disability is not seen as a marginal issue when there are negotiations taking place.
The Absence Managment Policy is a good example of something that impacts more on those with disabilities than on the able bodied. This group is a chance to compare, share and shout!!
