Health at Work: Prostate Health

Ever wondered what the prostate gland is for and what it does?

Do you or someone you know have prostate problems but are not quite sure what that means and who to ask?

Do you have to go to the bathroom often during the night?

Do you find it difficult to pass urine?

An enlarged prostate is a common feature for many men, especially older men, although it rarely causes symptoms before the age of 40.

One in two men are likely to have a prostate problem at some stage of their lives.

The link on this page will take you to the website of Prostate Scotland which aims to answer common questions about the prostate in a straightforward, accessible manner. http://www.prostatescotland.org.uk/
