Equalites and Self Organisation

Black Minority Ethnic Members Group

Black Minority Ethnic members are all those who see themselves as actual or potential victims of harassment or discrimmination based on their skin colour or ethnic origns.

This group can provide space and opportunity to share experiences in a constructive manner that ensures BME voices are heard at all levels in our union. In the face of rising racism and xenophobia as typified by the rise of organisations such as the Scottish Defence League and UKIP it has never been more important for trade unions to stand in solidarity with BME member.

I want MY voice to be heard - sign me up NOW!
