Police charges not related to Statutory Repair
Notices: UNISON statement
Following press reports regarding charges brought
regarding repairs in the City of Edinburgh Council,
UNISON wants to make it clear that these ARE NOT
connected to the Statutory Repair Notices scheme
operated by the Property Conservation Department.
Our information is that no wrongdoing was uncovered
by the police.
UNISON has consistently tried to
correct misleading reports that inaccurately
linked allegations of criminal activity to members
in
the Statutory Repair Notices scheme
