Home Care ServiceUNISON represents over 1,000 Home Care staff in Edinburgh. The union acknowledges the valued work that these staff do and wants to dispel the myth of this being just a 'domestic' service. The service includes a wide range of supports and services including Hospital Discharge and Rapid Response teams. Our members support clients with a wide range of needs at every age. The service ranges from child escorts to preventing hospital admission and promoting independence that allows people to remain at home longer.
