inspire shared responses to issues of
global concern.

Take One Action takes audiences beyond
the screen. They make global issues and
positive action against the root causes
of poverty accessible to thousands of
ordinary people each year. And they celebrate
great film.
Take One Action's programme is developed
by film lovers, artists and socially-committed
volunteers and professionals based in
Scotland who believe that cinematic experiences
can inspire change at the highest and
deepest levels.
Since 2008, we have engaged more than
ten thousand people with hundreds of world-class
films that comment on issues of global
concern.
From rare and reimagined screenings to
UK and Scottish premieres… through debate,
Q&As and workshops… our events bring together
communities, filmmakers, politicians,
businesses and artists, united by the
simple desire to connect around common
stories and shape their unfolding.
