UNISON City of Edinburgh sets national policies at National Conference 15-18 June

All but one of our motions and amendments to National Conference were heard and passed with the Branch instrumental again this year in setting national policies with even the motions that were not heard being supported by the National Executive - so they will become policy.

Our rule change clarifying that the calculation of UNISON subs should not include non-contractual overtime was passed. The Branch withdrew a rule amendment on the need to give one month's notice for subs changes because it may have been wrongly interpreted. The plan is to resubmit next year.
